This colonial manor which started with a strength of 10 tastefully furnished art-deco style rooms in 1990, now has an additional 5 luxury tents. Karni Kot lies 90 kms to the south of Jodhpur, en-route to Udaipur; on a left turn soon after crossing Pali.

  • On arrival a traditional welcome ceremony with the villagers and the Sodawas Staff.
  • Village walk safari which will enable you to see the different clans in this village.
  • Wild life Jeep Safari - after Safari tea is served on the top of Mamoji Ki Bhakri, (a hillock overlooking the vast fields, wild life and the manor ahead).
  • At dusk you are served your sun downers (Scotch, Gin & tonic or a Beer) with freshly prepared Barbecue, re-enacting living the Old Days of a Barbecue with drinks after a Shikar (Shoot).
  • Guests are served dinner in traditional colonial style, a formal sit down. The dinner is often headed by the family of Thakur Sunder Singh Sodawas..
  • Breakfast buffet in the dinning hall.
  • Running hot and cold water - 24 hours.
  • Guests can go on horse back to village Sapuni & the Village Reservoir. There they will be served lunch which will bought to you by the natives in the same traditional style as was practised during the time of the late Thakur Bishan Singhji Sodawas.
